There are plenty of hotels in Tulum to fit any budget. They range from eco lodges to luxurious boutique hotels. Before booking a hotel please make sure you do your research and ask questions. If air conditioning and pools are a must have for you it is important to note that many hotels in the area do not have either. Some hotels take it a step further and do not offer 24 hour electricity (they say it’s part of the charm). Again, just make sure you do your research.
There are larger, all inclusive resorts but most are at least 30 minutes away from where the wedding festivities will take place.
Ana y Jose is a family-run hotel with cozy apartment-style rooms featuring air conditioning and a private jacuzzi or pool each with its own look and feel. They have a wonderful restaurant and bar and are conveniently located to everything else Tulum has to offer. We have blocked a small number of rooms and they are offering guests of the wedding a discount. Ana y Jose is a small boutique hotel so if you’re interested in staying here try and make reservations soon!
Ahau Tulum is an environmentally-conscious Resort and Guest House nestled right on the beach. Ahau Tulum a less than ten minute walk from Ana y Jose (where all wedding festivities will take place) and they offer accommodations at many different price points. Not all of their rooms are equipped with air conditioning and usage of air conditioning is only permitted from 7:00 PM-9:00 AM throughout the resort. Just a little something to keep in mind if you plan on staying here.
El Pez is a comforting, insightful and peaceful “Seaside Chic” hotel that provides the perfect backdrop for any getaway (and they have wifi). El Pez to Ana y Jose is about a 25 minute walk but the hotel does offer bike rentals as well. All rooms are equipped with 24 hour electricity and air conditioning. There is a bar, restaurant, and spa onsite if you need a little pampering.
